Math Activities
Stat Invader
This lesson consists of a series of statistic games, in which the student controls the landing position of a set of spacecraft. The student must achieve goals related to the mean, median, bounds, and standard deviation of the landing positions. The goals highlight the behavior of the statistics, including difference between the mean and median. The lesson ends with a quiz about these statistics.

Coordinate Transform Game
This lesson demonstrates various linear transformations. The lesson asks students to identify transformations based on their visual and/or mathematical behavior.

Circuit Intro
This lesson allows students to build boolean logic circuits. It demonstrates the relationship between logic circuits and mathematical formulas. It shows how to construct boolean operators out of other boolean operators.

Function Transformations
This lesson includes a series of experiments and questions to help students understand the basic function transformations: scaling and translation.

Multiplying Fractions
Five sets of 20 problems to go over the basics of multiplying fractions.

Angle Transformations
This lesson demonstrates angular transformations using a potentiometer. The student explores different relationships between an angular input and angular output.
Requirements: an Arduino and a potentiometer

Common Factors
Students will explore reducing fractions and greatest common factor.

Base Explorer
Students will explore place value and base systems, specifically decimal, binary and hexadecimal.

Multiplying Fractions with Cancelling
Sets of 20 Problems to aid with multiplying fractions and cancelling.

Sensor Circuits
This lesson allows students to create various virtual circuits connecting inputs (sensors) to an output (LED). The students combine different mathematical operations to process the input sensor values.
Requirements: sensor assortment

Algebra Dominoes
Algebra Dominoes is a game designed to strengthen the concepts of adding like terms, evaluation and the distributive property.

Aircraft Heading and Ground Speed
Guides students through an application of the law of sines and law of cosines to determine an aircraft heading to overcome wind and find the resulting ground speed. Assumes students have been introduced to the laws of sines and cosines.
Requirements: scrap paper, calculator with basic trig functions and square root

Pythagorean Excursion
Students will explore Pythagorean Triples, and special right Triangles.

Multiples and Factors
A game to explore multiples, factors, and prime factors.

Vector Addition and Subtraction
Guides students through an introduction to vector components, vector addition, and subtraction, and finishes with a puzzle involving those concepts.

Exploring Negative and Positive
Students will learn and manipulate sums and differences of Positive and Negative numbers.
